Office Manager

Job Title: Office Manager

Hours: 3-4 days a week – spread of hours negotiable

Salary: Based on experience

Experience: Several years of office-based administration including HR

The successful applicant will be:

    • A first-class administrator with a strong eye for detail
    • Excellent with people
    • A great communicator in spoken and written English
    • Familiar with finance, able to manage budgets and handle financial information
    • Organised, able to multi-task and prioritise


  • Competent with Outlook, Word, Excel, etc and comfortable with technology


The Office Manager will be responsible for the management of a range of key functions:

HR and people

  • Coordinating recruitment, new starter paperwork, co-ordinating inductions
  • Maintaining staff HR records, online and paper
  • Being first port-of-call for staff HR queries (not disciplinary or pastoral issues)
  • Overseeing and tracking the annual appraisal process
  • Coordinating training
  • Managing all-staff communications and company meetings


  • Managing client contracts: Keeping records, reviewing and advising on new contracts, liaising with lawyers s
  • Supporting client-facing admin


  • Managing supplier contracts for office
  • Managing day-to-day IT, AV, telephone and photocopier requirements
  • Managing company insurance policies, answer basic queries, liaise with brokers
  • Ensuring all EdComs’ policies are up to date and reviewed
